Easy-to-Use Staple Inserter

NeoSpan® SE is a SuperElastic, compression-ready fixation system designed for fixation of fusions or osteotomies of the bones in the hand. NeoSpan® SE’s compressive properties and stepped-tooth design resist pullout.  The instrumentation kit is sterile and disposable. The inserter spreads the legs of the staple before released for compression loading.

Compression loading: With the Staple firmly in the Inserter’s metal prongs, slowly twist the top handle clockwise, extending the internal plunger to spread the staple’s legs.

Release: Slowly twist the top handle counterclockwise.
