Overview
The Omni Stable AF Ankle Fracture System comprises low-profile, anatomically contoured plates for fixation of ankle fractures, covering the lateral and posterior fibula and the posterior, anterior and medial tibia, with hook and straight plates. Plates are 1.3 to 1.5 mm thick, with chamfered lead-in edges designed to limit soft-tissue irritation, and distal screw hole clusters offer multiple screw placement options.
The plates accept 2.8 mm and 3.5 mm locking and non-locking variable-angle screws (30° cone of angulation), 4.0 mm syndesmosis screws and a stability post. The post locks into a plate hole like a locking screw and acts as a metal cortex for a 3.5 mm cannulated compression screw, placed through it with a targeting guide, giving stability in the plane orthogonal to the plate screws; the hole in the post rotates through 360° for flexible screw placement. 4.0 mm cannulated lag screws are also included.

Indications
Internal fixation of fractures of the distal tibia and fibula (ankle fractures).
The Omni foot and ankle plating system is intended for use in internal fixation of arthrodeses, osteotomies, fractures and non-unions of the small bones of the foot and ankle, including fore-, mid- and hindfoot and ankle applications.
