The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is reconstructed by passing a graft through tunnels in the femur and tibia and fixing it at each end. The posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) is reconstructed on the same principles.
We supply fixation for both ends of the graft:
- Femoral cortical buttons: ONBUTTON, ONBUTTON CL (continuous loop), ONBUTTON EX (extended surface for cortical blowouts and revisions) and BUTTONFIX.
- Tibial and all-inside fixation: MR-FIX, SMART-FIX and the BT-FIX adjustable loop.
- Interference screws: SOFTFIX, SOFTFIX-PK (PEEK) and BIOTWIN (resorbable), for soft-tissue and bone–patellar tendon–bone grafts.
- Graft-sparing implant: Xiros JewelACL, a permanent polyester implant for partial or total graft-sparing reconstruction.

Do you supply fixation for all-inside ACL reconstruction?
Yes. MR-FIX (a low-profile button) and SMART-FIX are tibial buttons for the all-inside technique, and the BT-FIX adjustable loop gives knotless tibial fixation with SMART-FIX in all-inside ACL and PCL reconstruction.
Can ACL reconstruction be done without harvesting a full graft?
Xiros JewelACL is a permanent polyester implant that can be used with or without additional tissue graft, for partial or total graft-sparing ACL reconstruction techniques.
