Poly-Tapes and Infinity-Lock™ Tapes are permanent, open-weave implants for soft tissue approximation and reconstruction of ligaments and tendons. They are made from woven multifilament high-tenacity polyester (polyethylene terephthalate) fibre, giving a soft, flexible structure with high strength, and are supplied sterile in a range of sizes: Poly-Tapes in 10 mm to 40 mm widths and Infinity-Lock Tapes in 3 mm, 5 mm and 7 mm widths.
The tapes are used in place of a harvested soft tissue graft to reconstruct the ligament or tendon.
