After a flexor tendon is cut, a retracted end is retrieved through the tendon sheath before it can be repaired. Where primary repair is not possible, a two-stage reconstruction may be used: a temporary silicone rod forms a new sheath, and a tendon graft is passed through it later.
- FlexPasser: a single-use kit for retrieving retracted flexor tendon ends, single or dual, through small incisions.
- Temporary silicone tendon: tendon rods (spacers) for staged reconstruction, in four diameters and three lengths, which can be cut to size.
