ClickIt ER is an emergency external fixation system for the temporary stabilisation of open fractures, unstable fractures and fractures associated with soft-tissue injury, for damage control orthopaedics. One universal clamp connects rod to rod, rod to screw and rod to wire with a snap-and-click coupling, and the Ø 12 mm carbon fibre rods are light and radiolucent.

Indications
Temporary stabilisation of:
- open fractures;
- unstable fractures;
- fractures associated with soft-tissue injury.

Components
- Universal clamp: one clamp for rod-to-rod (Ø 12 mm), rod-to-screw (screws Ø 4, 5 and 6 mm) and rod-to-wire (wires Ø 1.8 to 2.5 mm) connections, with a snap-and-click coupling and provisional tightening by hand before final locking with the wrench.
- Rods: Ø 12 mm, radiolucent carbon fibre, 100 to 600 mm.
- Multi-screw (T) clamp: places two or three screws; a large multi-screw clamp, with or without adjustable lateral supports, is also available.
- "U" rods: for the tibial pilon and tibial plateau.
- Hybrid parts: connecting post, 5/8 arches and rings, for conversion to a hybrid frame; compatible with the ClickIt CF circular fixator.
- Screws and wires: in several diameters, materials and thread lengths.
Ready-to-use kits
Eight sterile kits cover the common damage control frames: ankle spanning, ankle bridging plus, ankle bridging delta plus, tibia, knee bridging, femur, humerus and elbow trauma plus. Each kit holds the clamps, rods and screws for that frame (see Sizes and ordering).
Instruments and sterilisation
Only one instrument is needed to apply the frame. The kits and components are supplied sterile, with a single-use instrument set; a reusable instrument tray is also available. Reusable instruments: saturated-steam autoclave at 134 °C for 5 minutes.
