About 3D-Side
3D-Side S.A. is a Belgian company, a spin-off from UCLouvain, based in Mont-Saint-Guibert. It has offered patient-specific solutions since 2015 and manufactures patient-specific instruments in-house under an ISO 13485-certified workflow.
Its products are built on Customize, a web platform for personalised medical devices that takes a case from the DICOM upload through planning and design to manufacture; since 2018 the platform has also been provided to other medical device companies. Product lines include 3D-Arthro (planning and patient-specific instruments for knee, shoulder and ankle arthroplasty), 3D-Cut (patient-specific cutting guides for corrective osteotomy and bone tumour resection) and 3D-Skull (cranioplasty).
