About Noraker
Noraker was founded in 2005 in Lyon, France, as a spin-off from INSA Lyon (the MATEIS laboratory), and is based at 60 avenue Rockefeller in Lyon. It designs, manufactures and markets bone-regeneration implants made from bioactive glass, using a patented manufacturing process for which it holds an exclusive licence, and works mainly with French partners and subcontractors.
The company has been certified to NF EN ISO 13485 since 2008; its notified body is GMED and its products are class III implantable devices. Its implants are used in orthopaedics and traumatology, spine, cranio-maxillofacial and dental surgery.
