About Biomatlante
Biomatlante was founded in 1995 by Chantal Gobin to develop the biomaterials research of Professor Guy Daculsi of INSERM, the French national institute of health and medical research. It is based at 5 rue Édouard Belin, Vigneux-de-Bretagne, near Nantes, and now trades as Advanced Medical Solutions (Nantes).
The company develops, manufactures and sells synthetic biomaterials for bone regeneration, used in orthopaedics and trauma, spine, ENT, stomatology and dental surgery, and reports sales in over 50 countries. Its R&D works with CNRS, INSERM and national and international universities.
In December 2019 Biomatlante was acquired by Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc, a UK company.
