C-NAIL is an intramedullary nail for minimally invasive fixation of intra-articular calcaneal fractures. The nail stabilises the four or five main fragments of the fractured calcaneus together with up to seven interlocking screws, giving an angular-stable construct. The sustentacular fragment is fixed to the nail with two interlocking screws placed through an aiming device. Only small incisions are needed to reposition the fragments and insert the nail and screws.
