AktiBone™ Injectable Putty combines 45S5 bioactive glass with a polymer to give a malleable, fully synthetic and resorbable putty. It is supplied ready to use in a syringe and injected directly into the defect, including irregular or hard-to-reach defects.

Indications
Filling, reconstruction and/or fusion of bone defects or gaps in the skeletal system, where autologous bone is not applicable or sufficient, in adults and children:
- Filling of surgical bone defects, such as autograft donor sites and trepanation.
- Fusion or reconstruction of deformities and degenerative bone conditions.
- Filling and reconstruction after resection of tumours, cysts or infection, and in prosthetic revision.
