About ProSpon
ProSpon, spol. s r.o. was founded in 1992 in Kladno, Czech Republic, and develops, manufactures and distributes orthopaedic and trauma implants, instruments and other medical devices. Its range includes external fixators, joint replacements, internal spinal fixators, implants and instruments for cruciate ligament reconstruction, and oncological replacements of joints and bone segments.
Since 2000 ProSpon has made individual (patient-specific) replacements, designed from X-ray or CT data and 3D printed in titanium alloy, for large joints, the pelvis, scapula and jaw. The company reports that almost 4,000 patients have been treated with them.
