I.B.S.™ compression screws are cannulated, self-drilling, self-tapping compression and fully threaded (neutralisation) screws in titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) for the midfoot and hindfoot. This page covers the 4.5 mm, 6.5 mm and 8.0 mm diameters, used with reusable instrument sets; the 2.0 to 3.5 mm screws are used with NeoSys® single-use instruments. The screws are supplied sterile in a tube.
Features
- Wide and narrow thread shape, designed for bite and penetration in cortical bone
- Torx drive (T15, T25 and T30), designed to take higher torque without damage to the drive
- Angled distal cutting flutes for self-drilling and self-tapping insertion
- Conical head profile on the fully threaded screws, so final tightening can be felt
- Titanium alloy Ti6Al4V; 4.5 mm, 6.5 mm and 8.0 mm diameters; delivered in a sterile tube
- The 6.5 mm compression screws are available in two versions: 15 mm distal thread (C) and 30 mm distal thread (C+)
