Reconstruction with Poly-Tape provides a straightforward, “off-the-shelf” solution that enables early mobilisation and supports faster rehabilitation.

Well-established in clinical practice, this technique is backed by multiple published studies, all demonstrating excellent functional outcomes and reliable recovery.

Established clinical history

Studies have been published since 2008 treating a total of 88 knees for either patellar tendon or quadriceps tendon rupture with good functional outcomes. The earliest study used 20 mm tape, currently 30 mm tape is used. A Clinical Summary is available.

How it works

Step 1.
The Poly-Tape is passed transversely through the proximal end of the patellar tendon

Both ends of the Poly-Tape are proximally crossed anterior to the patella

Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) Repair with Infinity-Lock™ In many knee injuries that appear to involve only the ACL, the medial collateral ligament (MCL) is also affected. If left undiagnosed or untreated, an MCL injury can significantly impact patient outcomes. No need for autograft or allograft – By using synthetic tape to reconstruct the MPFL, there is no need to harvest any autologous tissue, so the patient’s hamstrings (for example) are preserved.
