BioFiber

The MINI-VIM PK® is a non-absorbable PEEK suture anchor with same material eyelet which provides superior abrasion resistance due to PEEK’s low coefficient of friction. Anchor insertion and delivery are made simple by drilling through a sleeve and inserting the anchor into the drilled hole. It is a tap-in anchor. It is available in 3.0mm diameter with needle. It is a double loaded anchor available with combinations of fiber and fiber tape. It can be used for any soft tissue fixation of foot & ankle.

FIBERKNOT® is an all suture anchor which is smaller in size and is composed of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) suture and is available in diameter of 1.5mm (single loaded), 1.8mm (double loaded) & 2.9mm (double loaded). FIBERKNOT® requires a smaller pilot hole compared to traditional anchors, minimizing bone removal and decreasing the overall anchor footprint, while still providing superior strength. The FIBERKNOT® anchors can be used in any soft tissue fixation of -. E.g. Achilles Tendinosis Repair, Ankle Instability Repair, Lisfranc ligament repair, CMC Arthroplasty etc.

BioFiber® Tape is an ultra-high strength tape using a similar long chain polyethylene structure as the BioFiber® suture. It can be used in many indications in Foot & Ankle repair surgeries like bridge construct in Achilles Tendinosis and Brace for the ligaments. The broad footprint of the BioFiber® Tape is appropriate for repairs in degenerative tissue where tissue pull-through may be a concern.

MICRO-VIM™ ligament anchor This anchor is made of radiopaque titanium. The screw-in design of the anchor is ideal for soft-bone matrix. The MICRO-VIM™ Ligament Anchor is available in 1.8mm and 2.0mm diameters. The Inserter is preloaded with anchor and 1 pc USP size 2-0/0 fiber with tapered needle. MICRO-VIM™ ligament anchor can be used for tarsal-metatarsal and phalanges ligament repair.
