MINI-VIM PK® Ligament Anchor (PEEK, Knotless)

VIMFIX-PK® is a fully threaded suture anchor featuring dual Biofiber to maximize cortical and cancellous fixation, has a covered saddle tip to protect the sutures and is cannulated to channel growth factors. These anchors are manufactured with PEEK material which is a thermoplastic material with excellent biocompatibility and biostability characteristics. Clinical Used for Primary or Medial Row Fixation. Fully threaded; Cancellous and cortical threads provide exceptional fixation strength. Available in 4.5mm and 5.5mm diameters with double & triple loaded options with fiber & fiber tape combination for greater footprint contact pressure on cuff. FIBERKNOT ® ligament anchor Dia. 2.9mm requires a pilot hole for the insertion. Specially designed Punch for FIBERKNOT® ligament anchor which provides the accurate hole placement for the anchor. The small 2.9mm footprint of FIBERKNOT® ligament anchor provides placement and fixation advantages when bone real estate is limited, especially during the revision surgeries. It is available in double and triple loaded options with various combinations of BioFiber® and BioFiber® Tape. Also available with a needle option for mini open procedures. MINI-VIM® Ligament anchors are titanium anchors available in 2.8mm and 3.5mm diameters and come preloaded with USP #2 suture. Ideal for SLAP and subscapularis repairs where a small stab incision and percutaneous delivery of the implant is preferred It’s a self-drilling anchor. A drill bit is available for use in hard bone, if desired. The average pull-out strength of MINI-VIM® 2.8mm ligament anchor is 129N* and MINI-VIM® 3.5mm ligament anchor is 135.8N*. Also available in needled version for mini open procedures. Anchor Dimensions: Dia. 2.8mm x Len. 11.5mm and Dia.3.5mm x Len. 11.5mm.    

MINI-VIM PK® Ligament anchor is a non-absorbable PEEK suture anchor with a material eyelet that provides superior abrasion resistance due to PEEK’s low coefficient of friction. Anchor insertion and delivery are made simple by drilling through a spear and inserting the anchor through the same spear into the drilled hole. It is available in 3 size options, Dia. 2.8mm (single loaded), Dia. 3.0mm (double loaded) & Dia. 3.5mm (double loaded). Dia. 3.0mm is also available with a needle option for mini open procedures. The average pull-out strength of MINI-VIM PK® 2.8mm ligament anchor is 221.0 N*, MINI-VIM® II PK 3.0mm ligament anchor is 127.1 N* & MINI-VIM ® II PK 3.5mm ligament anchor is 368.8 N*.
