BioFiber® is a braided, sterile, non-absorbable surgical suture made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). No significant change in tensile strength retention is known to occur in vivo. BioFiber® is supplied preloaded in many Biotek suture anchors for foot and ankle procedures.
