VIMFIX®-BT is a knotless tenodesis screw for all-arthroscopic proximal biceps tenodesis. Its PEEK tip is used to steer the biceps tendon to the bottom of the bone socket without externalising or whipstitching the tendon, so tendon length does not need to be predetermined: position and tension are set and visualised before final anchor insertion. Fixation is obtained by advancing the preloaded tenodesis screw.
The system includes fluted solid tenodesis reamers with built-in guide tips, so reaming over a guide pin is not required.
